In support of the Alpha’s mission of providing South Africans with employment opportunities, we have partnered with some local community programmes that aim to address the unemployment rate in South Africa.

Alpha places significant emphasis on our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and have partnered with The Sprout Foundation, who address the unemployment crisis in South Africa by assisting unemployed youth with further education and employment opportunities, including how to become job ready.

The Alpha family pride ourselves in caring for our community and those in need. We have also chosen to support an under-resourced primary school, located in near the Inanda Dam in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The school is called Isihlangusabasha Primary, meaning “shield for the youth”, which we serve by providing educational resources and establishing a fun and productive environment for the 496 learners.

Collaborating with community members on many of our projects, ensures that the local community is empowered every step of the way and that employment opportunities are being created.

Alpha is dedicated to fostering employment opportunities in South Africa. With the goal of creating 10,000 sustainable job opportunities, we have partnered with The Sprout Foundation to support their employment programmes. The Sprout Foundation hosts unemployed youth for job readiness sessions, where they equip them with a variety of skills and knowledge necessary for securing employment.

At Alpha, we recognise the importance of not only upskilling and empowering the youth, but also exposing them to opportunities and diverse workplace experiences. Consequently, Alpha provides The Sprout Foundation with access to our office space to host their employment programmes, along with the latest knowledge required for securing employment, including recruitment information, marketing strategies, personal branding tips, and office etiquette.

Moreover, Alpha has donated second-hand laptops that are no longer suitable for professional use to The Sprout Foundation, enabling their participants to create CVs, cover letters, and submit job applications.

Alpha was delighted to attend The Sprout Foundation’s first annual career expo. The day was aimed at exposing unemployed youth and high school students from under-resourced schools to different available career options. The Alpha team was thrilled to share our knowledge and expertise on the BPO space, including the variety of jobs and services that we provide to the youth who were interested in chatting with our representatives. It was heartwarming to hear from the attendees what their dreams for their futures were and to be able to inspire them on how to potentially reach those dreams. Alpha is proud to be a recurring exhibitor at the Sprout career expos going forward.
