At Alpha, we embrace environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles as a powerful foundation for growth, driving long-term success while inspiring positive change and building thriving communities.

Why ESG Matters to us?

At Alpha, ESG is more than a framework — it’s a commitment to building a resilient, responsible, and forward-looking business. We believe that strong environmental stewardship, social impact, and ethical governance create long-term value not only for our company, but also for our communities, stakeholders, and the planet. By embedding ESG into everything we do, we position Alpha for sustainable growth while contributing to a brighter, more inclusive future.

why ESG matters to Alpha

Environmental responsibility

We are proud to partner with Food & Trees for Africa’s Community Tree Planting initiative, one tree planted per outsourced agent. By supporting the planting of fruit-bearing and indigenous trees, we help create greener, healthier spaces while promoting biodiversity, food security, and carbon reduction. This collaboration strengthens communities and ensures lasting environmental impact.

  • Tree planting in shared spaces and homes — fruit-bearing and indigenous varieties used to support greening and food access.

  • Community engagement and training — local Community Educators trained in planting, care, and ESG-related responsibilities.
  • Monitoring for sustainability — trees are checked at 1 week, 6 months, and 1 year to maximize survival.

  • Environmental benefits — shade, biodiversity, food security, air quality improvement, and carbon offsetting.

Social Impact

We’re honoured to collaborate with The Sprout Foundation, a beacon of hope for high school learners and unemployed youth in South Africa. Their dynamic programmes — ranging from social feeding to career expos and job readiness workshops — align with our values of empowerment, inclusion, and opportunity. Together, we’re creating pathways for youth to thrive, dream bigger, and build brighter futures.

Our supported key Social Impact Initiatives by The Sprout Foundation:

  • Social Feeding Scheme — Providing a daily meal to over 2,000 school children in under-resourced schools. Ensuring that students start their day nourished and ready to learn.

  • Career Expos — Events that connect high school students and unemployed youth with education and employment institutions, helping them explore and pursue diverse career paths.

  • Job Readiness Programmes — Workshops offering essential skills—from CV writing and interviewing to workplace etiquette, networking, and navigating practical processes (like obtaining IDs or driver’s licences)—arming participants with confidence and readiness for the job market.
